My name is Raul Afonso Taunay, I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Brazil. I've always enjoyed all things creative. Most of all, I liked to draw.

In college I studied history, but I would sit in on a number of art classes. From art history to drawing courses. I also enjoy taking live model workshops as well as taking on the odd illustration job.

I moved a lot during my life, experienced plenty of cultures, from Italy to Zimbabwe, from Brasília to New York City, where I have been for a few years.

Nevertheless I’ve worked and put myself in a place where I can finally do what I should be doing, sharing my works to whoever wants to see it. I hope you like it.
